Kompri lux / Kompri lux S – Gauze Compress
A medical device intended for professional use in healthcare facilities. After proper sterilization, the compress can be used for wound dressing, skin cleansing, and as an invasive material during surgical procedures for the absorption of blood and body fluids.
Characteristics:
Made of high-quality, 100% cotton gauze
Available in a non-sterile version (Kompri lux) and a sterile version (Kompri lux S)
Multi-layered (typically 8 or 12 layers, depending on the size)
Folded using the ES method to eliminate loose edges
Excellent absorbency and air permeability
Soft, gentle on the skin, and conforms well to body contours
The non-sterile version can be sterilized using steam, ethylene oxide, or irradiation
Shelf life: 5 years
